Find conflicts before they find you.
On-premise conflict checking for law firms. COIxist searches every system your firm already runs, explains every match in plain language, and never lets client data leave your network.
From intake to clearance in minutes.
Attorneys submit a check. COIxist searches every connected system at once, ranks what it finds, and records the decision. Nothing is re-keyed, and nothing leaves the building.
Submit a new check
Enter client details or upload intake documents. The parser extracts party names, roles and key fields from PDF, Word and spreadsheet files — no manual data entry.
Read moreSearch every source at once
Seven matching strategies run simultaneously across your DMS, ERP, CRM, directory and the firm's own archive, with sanctions screening on every check.
Read moreReview and clear
Matches arrive with a plain-language explanation, a risk level and a suggested action. Clearance decisions, waivers and ethical walls are recorded in one audit trail.
Read moreEvery conflict. Every angle. Every time.
Exact, fuzzy, phonetic, corporate-affiliate, identifier, nickname and alias matching run on every check. Each strategy explains itself, so a reviewer can see why a name surfaced and defend the decision later.
One system, all your data
COIxist connects to the systems your firm already pays for and searches them together. No migration, no duplicate entry. Every check, result and decision lives in one searchable archive.
Multi-strategy matching
Seven algorithms run at once — exact, fuzzy, phonetic, corporate affiliate, identifier, nickname and alias — so a transliterated name or a renamed subsidiary does not slip past.
Document auto-extraction
Upload engagement letters or intake forms in PDF, DOCX or spreadsheet format. Party names, roles and key fields are extracted and shown for review before the search runs.
Ethical walls
Information barriers with approval workflows, user acknowledgments, violation tracking and a compliance dashboard. Included in the platform, not sold as a module.
Waivers and engagement letters
Generate waiver and engagement letters from templates, capture electronic signatures in-app and track each letter's lifecycle in the same record as the conflict it resolves.
Complete audit trail
Every action is logged with who, what and when. Every decision is traceable and every clearance defensible — written for regulators, readable by practitioners.
Your data never reaches us.
COIxist installs on one machine inside your firm's network and owns a local PostgreSQL database. Attorney desktops connect to it over HTTPS. There is no COIxist cloud, no shared infrastructure and no telemetry. When you choose to connect an external service, your server calls it with your credentials.

models trained on your data. Matching is deterministic, so the result for a name today is the result for it next year.

Connects to the systems your firm already runs on.
Document management, finance, CRM, directory and screening services are searched from one place, so nothing in a disconnected system goes unchecked.

Migration importers cover Intapp, Thomson Reuters 3E, Aderant Expert, Elite, Litera and generic CSV, so the firm's conflicts history comes across on day one. Full connector notes are in the documentation.
Built for the people who have to say yes.
Conflicts counsel, firm IT and risk committees get the whole posture — including what we have not achieved yet — on one page, suitable for attachment to a vendor-risk questionnaire.
Pinned TLS
Every desktop connection is TLS with trust-on-first-use certificate pinning. A changed certificate blocks the connection instead of failing silently.
Hardened authentication
argon2id password hashing, brute-force lockouts, session lifetimes and idle timeouts set by your operator, and immediate revocation on deactivation.
Append-only audit log
Who, what, which entity, when — structured and replayable for bar audits, SRA reviews, client-requested conflicts audits and insurer underwriting.
Verified supply chain
Exact-pinned dependencies with integrity and signature checks, CodeQL on every change and a hardened Electron desktop client verified in CI.
The questions every evaluation asks.
Where does our data live?
On a server inside your firm's own network. COIxist installs on one machine on your LAN, owns a local PostgreSQL database, and attorney desktop clients connect to it over HTTPS. We never receive, store, or have access to any of it — there is no cloud component.
Do you run AI or machine learning on our client data?
No. COIxist's matching engine is deterministic — exact, fuzzy, phonetic, corporate-affiliate, identifier, nickname, and alias strategies with explainable, human-readable results. Your client data never feeds or trains any model, ours or anyone else's.
How long does implementation take?
The server ships as a native installer (Windows, macOS, Linux) with a guided setup wizard, and migration importers cover Intapp, Thomson Reuters 3E, Aderant Expert, Elite, Litera, and generic CSV. Most firms are running in days to weeks — not the multi-month implementation projects typical of legacy platforms.
What does pricing look like?
Per-seat licensing with ethical walls, sanctions screening, and every matching strategy included — no separately-priced modules. Contact us for a quote sized to your firm.
Are you SOC 2 certified?
COIxist is self-hosted, so your data never touches our infrastructure — your firm's existing security controls and certifications continue to govern it, which is a stronger posture than any vendor attestation about someone else's cloud. Our engineering controls are mapped to SOC 2 criteria; the full, honest picture is on the Security page.
What happens to our data if we leave?
It's your database. COIxist uses standard PostgreSQL on your own server — export everything with stock tooling (pg_dump) any day, no exit fees, no proprietary formats, no vendor dependency.
See it running on your own infrastructure requirements.
A 30-minute walkthrough with someone who works on the software. We reply within one business day — one email from a real person, no sales sequences.
